DETERMINATION
Contact COR4Hire to discuss whether your business qualifies to conduct fingerprint background checks. I will provide you with an initial free consultation to determine if moving forward with the process is appropriate for you.
OBTAIN
If your business should be conducting fingerprint background checks, allow COR4Hire to navigate the California Department of Justice’s Applicant Agency process to obtain an ORI # and fingerprint account for your business. As your Custodian of Records, I will also get you set up with a Fingerprint Fee account if appropriate.
SET UP
- Working with your current hiring processes to integrate the fingerprint background checks.
- Setting up policies and procedures to ensure the fingerprint background account remains up to date and in compliance.
- Training pertinent staff.
- Ensuring a flow is implemented for the ease of communication so hiring continues.
MANAGE
If you choose, COR4Hire will remain your Custodian of Records and manage your fingerprint background and fee accounts with the California Department of Justice (DOJ). This will allow for the following:
- COR4Hire will remain your point of contact for DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) with regards to your fingerprint background checks and fees.
- COR4Hire will ensure that your accounts are always up to date and current within the laws, rules, and regulations set forth.
- COR4Hire will help your business evolve with changes implemented by the DOJ and/or FBI.

2. Is it only non-profit businesses that qualify for fingerprint background accounts?
No. Depending on access, some construction companies have fingerprint
background accounts, as do maid services, in-home non-licensed care providers, massage therapists, just to name a few.
